Kansas City has a lot to offer both on the Missouri side and the Kansas side. There are many activities for people from all areas of interest. Some of my favorite places just so happen to be where the food is!

Wings Cafe

Let's kick off this list with one of my newer faves. This restaurant is a knockout when it comes to gettin your wing fix. They are a black-owned business and worth the coins. If seafood is more up your alley, they have lovely fish and shrimp options!

KC DAIQUIRI SHOP

If you need a place to chow down and sip with your circle of sistahs or even with your boo, look no further than the KC Daiquiri Shop. This establishment is filled with friendly staff and an excellent overall experience. The menu is off the chain! From Po'Boy Sandwiches and gumbo to wings and wraps, KC Daiquiri has it all!

Awaze

Looking for a little international flavor? Check out Awaze. I was nearly in tears eating here. This amazing hangout spot gives you a more authentic taste of Ethiopian and Caribbean dishes that are hard to refuse. You will never have to worry about portion size! Your plate will be filled to the brim! Another great feature is that you can expect to enjoy live entertainment if you go to one of their special events!
