The Voyage Begins

What's up Voyagers?! I guess that's what I'll call you guys for now. I started this voyage unsure of where my final destination lies. To be transparent, I'm still trying to figure this out. I've made a few stops along the way to smell the roses, sail across lakes and board planes to countries that now have a portion of my heart. My hope is that you guys can ride along with me and see what the world has to offer.

My love of travel runs deep in my veins. I am the daughter of a U.S. Army Veteran

and a retired V.A. Medical Worker and songstress. My infant years and early childhood consisted of constantly moving to and fro depending on where Daddy got stationed. This chapter of my life was filled with many hellos and goodbyes. By the time we had actually settled in one spot and I began to grow older, I had grown fond of spontaneous road trips and early morning car rides to explore some new part of town. Whenever I watched movies or played with my friends, I often took a brief moment to daydream about what life would be like in another country. In fourth grade, I met a new classmate named Richa. Her family is from India. She quickly became my best friend and would always find new ways to share small parts of her culture with me. The memories I shared with Richa would determine how I interacted with anyone from a culture different from my own for the rest of my life. I gained many international friends throughout my life and they each have taught me something new. My voyage has already begun, as you follow me, I hope you start on yours too.
